Meet the Owners of Tumble In Bed and Breakfast

Nestled in the heart of the southern Drakensberg, Tumble In Bed and Breakfast is more than just a place to rest—it’s a warm, inviting escape run by a passionate young couple whose love story spans continents and whose experience in hospitality runs deep.

He hails from the vibrant landscapes of Peru and brings with him a wealth of experience from the beverage service industry, where he spent years perfecting the art of guest interaction and service excellence. While he’s no longer behind the bar, his background has shaped his natural ability to make guests feel welcome, valued, and at ease.

She was raised Kokstad with a warm, approachable presence and a solid background as a hotel operations coordinator on cruise ships. Known for her calm demeanour and exceptional attention to detail, she creates a relaxed and seamless experience for every guest who walks through the door.

Together, they boast a combined total of over twenty years in the hospitality industry. Their shared passion for service excellence and creating welcoming spaces inspired them to take over Tumble In Bed and Breakfast in 2024, a cozy retreat that now blends international charm with South African heart.

Whether you’re just passing through or staying a while, you’ll be greeted with the comfort of home, the professionalism of seasoned hosts, and the warm, personal touch only a family-run establishment can provide.

Welcome to Tumble In—where every stay tells a story.
